GE VMIVME-7700 Processing module
Processor: The Intel ultra-low voltage Celeron 400 MHz/650 MHz processor can provide stable computing power with low power consumption to meet a variety of computing needs in industrial environments.
Storage: Up to 1 GB of bootable flash memory (optional) is supported on the secondary IDE for storing system programs and important data. It also comes with 32 KB of non-volatile SRAM to hold critical configuration information or temporary data in the event of a power failure.
Interface: Has a variety of communication interfaces, including two 16-bit and two 32-bit programmable timers, can be used for a variety of timing control tasks; A PMC extension site to facilitate users to expand functions according to specific needs; Supports VME64 mode for high-speed data transmission and communication with other VME bus devices. It also comes with a PS/ 2-style keyboard and mouse interface, two high-performance 16550-compatible serial ports, Ultra DMA/100 hard drive and floppy disk drive controller, among others.
Chipset: Using the Intel 815E chipset, the front-end bus rate is 100 MHz, providing a stable system architecture and data transmission capability. Through this chip set, the effective management and control of memory, hard disk, Ethernet and other devices are realized.
Other features: Single slot, passive cooling, Eurocard shape specification, this design makes the module small size, easy to install in a variety of industrial equipment, while passive cooling method improves the reliability and stability of the system, suitable for high heat dissipation requirements of industrial environments. VMEbus specification Rev.C.1, with transparent PCI-to-VMEbus bridge, allows the board to act as a system controller or peripheral CPU in multi-CPU systems, making it easy for users to build complex industrial control systems.
