Functional characteristics
Powerful counting capability: Capable of calculating up to 4 gigabit events, with excellent processing power and counting accuracy, supporting event counting, frequency measurement, cycle/pulse width measurement and other functions.
Flexible output configuration: With 24 discrete output channels programmable with on-board jumper module options, each channel provides 12-bit resolution and can generate and absorb up to 10 mah at ±10V to drive a wide range of industrial loads.
Easy testing and configuration: Analog inputs can be disconnected from external circuits for off-line testing. Measurement, timing, and output functions for each channel can be easily configured through a user-friendly and memory-mapped interface without directly programming the system timing controller.
Hardware composition
VMEbus Slave DTB interface: Used to arbitrate local CPU resources for communication with other VME-compatible devices and modules.
CPU with firmware and supporting logic: responsible for performing various control and processing tasks, maintaining data structures in shared local memory for buffering measurements and queuing control commands.
Measurement and control circuit: complete specific measurement and control functions, including signal acquisition, processing and output.
