Product information
NI PXI-2549 PXI bus Radio Frequency relay module
Basic information
Type: PXI RF relay module.
Channel configuration: 2 channels, adopting a double-terminated single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay structure.
Switching bandwidth: 2.7GHz.
Characteristic impedance: 50Ω.
Performance characteristics
Signal integrity: It features excellent insertion loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), and isolation parameters, ensuring low signal reflection, high transmission efficiency, effectively suppressing inter-channel signal crosstalk, reducing signal attenuation and distortion, and guaranteeing signal quality.
Protection function: The terminal resistor can minimize the reflection in the open channel, protecting the user’s signal source or the device under test from damage.
Relay count tracking: Users can utilize the internal function to track relay counts, predict relay life and reduce system dead time.
Functional characteristics
Flexible networking: The SwitchBlock function can be used to build large matrix switches, reducing wiring and simplifying connections. By connecting multiple SwitchBlock relay cards through the integrated analog bus of the chassis, a network with a large number of intersection points can be easily created.
Health monitoring: The NI SwitchBlock system offers advanced functions such as relay health monitoring, providing users with an intelligent way to monitor the status of the switch system.
Application field
Communication testing: In the research and development, production and testing of wireless communication systems, it can be used to connect test instruments such as radio frequency signal sources, spectrum analyzers, and vector signal analyzers with the test objects such as base stations and terminal devices, to achieve the testing of various performance indicators of the communication system.
Radar testing: In the design, debugging and performance evaluation of radar systems, the RF signals generated by radar transmitters can be switched to different antenna arrays or receiving channels to achieve the testing of functions such as radar beamforming, target detection and tracking.
