MOTOROLA MVME162-001 single-board computer module
Processor: It adopts a 25MHz MC68LC040 enhanced 32-bit microprocessor, featuring 8KB cache and MMU (Memory Management Unit).
Memory: It has 1MB of main memory (DRAM) and 512KB of SRAM. In addition, there is 1MB of Flash Memory, which is used to store system programs and data.
Interface:
VME bus interface: It is equipped with A32/D64 VME bus master/slave interfaces, which can be conveniently connected and communicated with other VME bus devices, achieving system expansion and integration.
Serial interface: It is usually equipped with multiple EIA-232-D serial communication ports, which can be used to connect external devices such as modems, sensors, terminals, etc., for serial data transmission.
Ethernet interface: Some models may integrate an Ethernet interface, supporting network communication and enabling data exchange and remote control with other devices via the network.
SCSI interface: The NCR53C710 narrowband SE SCSI bus controller can be optionally equipped to connect SCSI devices such as hard disks and tape drives, achieving high-speed data storage and transmission.
Parallel interface: It provides an 8-bit bidirectional parallel interface, implemented by a programmable channel controller (PCC2), which can be used to connect parallel devices or perform parallel data transmission.
Other interfaces: It also features four MVIP industrial standard interfaces, which can be used to connect various modules or devices that comply with the MVIP standard, thereby expanding system functions.
Other features:
Status indication: The board is equipped with eight LED indicator lights to display various status information of the system, such as failure (Fail), status (Stat), operation (Run), system connection (Con), local area network (Lan), Fuse (Fuse), SCSI status and VME bus status, etc.
Push-button switches: There are two push-button switches, namely the Abort and Reset buttons, which facilitate users to perform emergency operations and resets on the system.
