Product information
GE IC698PSA350 Power module
Basic information
Series: PACSystem RX7i controller series.
Input voltages: Range from 85 to 264VAC (47 to 63Hz) and 100 to 150VDC, nominal rated voltages 120/240VAC and 125VDC.
Input power: 440 watts (typical value) and 500 watts (maximum value) are required, and the power factor is 0.99 for AC input power supply.
Output power: Up to 350 watts, with output currents of 0 to 60 amps, 0 to 12 amps, and 0 to 4 amps for all three outputs (5VDC, 12VDC, and -12VDC).
Functional characteristics
Slot position: A single-slot PSU occupies a single slot in the chassis and is installed only in slot 0 of the RX7i rack.
Status indicator: Equipped with various LED status indicators, including Field OK, OUTPUT OK and OVER TEMP leds, to help identify the operating status of the module.
Protection circuit: Provides built-in protection circuit, such as overheat and overvoltage protection and airflow protection. There is a 70CFM forced-air cooling fan in the lower part of the system chassis to provide cooling air for the PSU. When the air flow stops, the OVER TEMP LED indicator starts.
Signal transmission: The ability to send logic level signals to the module through the backplane.
Electrical isolation: All outputs are rated for isolation at 1500 volts DC.
Traverse and hold time: The module provides a traverse time of 15 ms and a hold time of 5 ms.
Working environment: The working temperature range is between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius, and the ambient temperature of the installation area should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius during normal operation. The power module is equipped with an air flow sensor to detect fan failure or airflow stoppage around the driver. During installation, the power module should not have any live power connection and should be properly grounded.
