Product number 9907-014 is part of the Woodward 2301A series load sharing and Speed control. Models 9907-014 operate in the low voltage range with an operating power supply of 20-40 Vdc. This model is specifically designed as a speed control system rather than a load distribution and speed control system.
When using the control device and the magnetic pickup sensor, you need to measure the voltage, which is done by measuring the 28th and 29th terminals. When the control device is at the starting speed, the minimum voltage on the terminal will be 1.0V, at the rated speed, the Vrms should be 30V, if for any reason the voltage exceeds 30V, it is necessary to increase the gap of the speed sensor, while performing these operations, ensure that the voltage at the starting speed is still 1.0V.
All cables used to connect the control unit to the engine must be shielded and these cables must be twisted pair. Never attempt to weld a braided shield. Doing so can result in serious injury and cable failure. When the control unit is connected, it must be properly grounded, and the connection from the ground to the ground strip will provide true grounding to the chassis of the control unit.
