B&R (B&R) 2005 PLC is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) produced by B&R Corporation, widely used in industrial automation control field.

As a new generation process control system of B&R, B&R 2005 PLC has been widely used in the field of industrial automation with its powerful function and flexible configuration. The PLC takes module as the basic component unit, through reasonable parameter setting and module configuration, it can meet various complex industrial control needs.
System configuration
Baseboard: The B&R system must have a baseboard on which various other modules are mounted. The mainboard integrates I/O bus, system bus, power cable, etc., which is used for connecting various modules.
Power module: The power module must be installed on the leftmost part of the mainboard and supplies power to all modules on the mainboard. Note that the sum of power consumed by all modules on a baseboard module cannot be greater than the output power of the PSU. Otherwise, you need to expand the power locally or remotely by using expansion modules.
CPU module: Integrates CPU, memory, power supply (such as 24V/5V), and communication interface (such as serial port R232). The CPU is divided into standard processors and programmable interface processors, which can be selected according to specific needs.
Interface slot module: An IF060 module with expansion slots does not provide specific functions by itself, but can meet different functional requirements when combined with other modules.
I/O module: including digital input/output module and analog input/output module. When using digital modules, factors such as voltage range, number of channels, input delay (DI module)/output type (DO module) should be considered; The analog module needs to consider the voltage, current and other parameters.
