Characteristics and Functions
Channel configuration: It features 32 channels and can simultaneously connect to multiple signal sources, making it suitable for multi-channel data acquisition applications.
Input types: Supports multiple input types, including differential input and single-ended input. The differential input mode can effectively suppress common-mode interference and improve the anti-interference ability of the signal. It is suitable for measuring small signals or data acquisition in noisy environments. Single-ended input is suitable for general signal input situations and can be flexibly selected according to actual needs.
Electrical characteristics: It features a relatively high input impedance, typically at the megohm level, which helps reduce the load effect on the input signal source and ensures measurement accuracy. Meanwhile, it can withstand a certain range of input voltages, generally around ±10V to ±30V, depending on the module configuration and application scenarios.
Protection function: To prevent damage to the module and subsequent equipment caused by external electrical interference, overvoltage, overcurrent and other conditions, the SCXI-1302 is equipped with multiple protection mechanisms. For example, it has an overvoltage protection function, which can limit the voltage amplitude of the input signal. When the input voltage exceeds the set threshold, the protection circuit will automatically act to clamp the voltage within a safe range. It also features electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection function, which can prevent damage to the module caused by static electricity accumulation, thereby enhancing the reliability and stability of the module.
Connection method: Signal connection is made through screw terminals. This connection method has excellent electrical contact performance and mechanical stability, ensuring reliable signal transmission. Users can conveniently connect the cables of external sensors, signal sources and other devices to the terminals to achieve signal access.
Application scenarios
Industrial automation: In the industrial production process, it is used to connect various sensors, such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors, etc. The analog signals collected by the sensors are transmitted to the data acquisition system for processing and analysis, achieving monitoring and control of the industrial production process.
Laboratory testing: In scientific research laboratories and testing environments, it can be used to connect various experimental equipment and instruments, such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, etc., to achieve the collection and analysis of experimental data. For example, in the electronic circuit experiment, the output signal of the oscilloscope is connected to the input channel of SCXI-1302, and then the electrical signal waveform measured by the oscilloscope is recorded and analyzed through the data acquisition system.
Environmental monitoring: In the field of environmental monitoring, various environmental sensors such as humidity sensors, light sensors, and gas sensors can be connected to collect environmental parameter data in real time, providing data support for environmental quality monitoring and environmental protection. For example, in a meteorological station, the signals from multiple environmental sensors are connected to the data acquisition system through SCXI-1302 to achieve comprehensive monitoring and analysis of meteorological elements.
