NI SCXI-1140 High-precision voltage input module
Main features
High-speed sampling: It features a high sampling rate, reaching up to 200kS/s (200,000 samplings per second), capable of quickly capturing dynamically changing voltage signals. It is suitable for measuring voltage signals generated by rapidly changing physical quantities, such as vibration and shock.
Multi-channel synchronous acquisition: It usually has multiple input channels (such as 8 channels) and supports synchronous acquisition between channels. This means that multiple voltage signals at different locations or of different types can be precisely and synchronously measured simultaneously. It is of great significance for applications that require the analysis of phase relationships or time synchronization among multiple related signals, such as in multi-sensor synchronous monitoring systems.
High-precision measurement: It adopts high-precision A/D conversion technology, generally with 16-bit or higher resolution, and can provide accurate voltage measurement results. Its measurement accuracy can reach within ±0.05% of the full scale, which can meet the requirements of high-precision measurement for most scientific research and industrial applications.
Wide input range: Supports multiple different input voltage ranges, such as ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, etc. The appropriate range can be flexibly selected according to the actual size of the input signal to fully utilize the dynamic range of the A/D converter and improve the resolution and accuracy of the measurement.
Signal conditioning function
Programmable gain amplifier: Each channel is equipped with a programmable gain amplifier, and the gain can be set through software, typically ranging from 1 to 1000 times. This enables the module to amplify input signals of different amplitudes and adjust the signals to the range suitable for A/D conversion, thereby improving the measurement accuracy of small signals.
Anti-aliasing filter: To prevent the aliasing phenomenon caused by high-frequency noise during the sampling process, the NI SCXI-1140 is equipped with an anti-aliasing filter. The cut-off frequency of this filter can be adjusted according to the sampling rate and signal bandwidth requirements, effectively filtering out the noise and interference in the input signal that are higher than the Nyquist frequency (half of the sampling rate), ensuring the accuracy of the measurement results.
