NI PXI-2530B high-performance RF switch module
Application field
Wireless communication testing: In the research and development, production and testing of wireless communication equipment, it is often used to connect test instruments such as RF signal sources, spectrum analyzers, and vector signal analyzers with the wireless communication equipment under test, to achieve the testing of various performance indicators of the wireless communication system, such as transmission power, receiving sensitivity, frequency error, modulation accuracy, etc. For example, in the research and development tests of 5G mobile phones, PXI-2530B can accurately switch 5G radio frequency signals of different frequency bands to the receiving and transmitting ports of the mobile phone for comprehensive performance tests.
Radar system testing: In the design, debugging and performance evaluation of radar systems, it can be used to switch the RF signals generated by radar transmitters to different antenna arrays or receiving channels to achieve the testing of functions such as radar beamforming, target detection and tracking. Meanwhile, the radar echo signal can also be routed to the corresponding test instrument for analysis, helping engineers accurately evaluate the performance of the radar system under different working modes, and then optimize and improve it.
Satellite communication testing: In the testing of satellite communication ground stations, the PXI-2530B can accurately switch the transmitted and received signals of satellite communication equipment to the corresponding test instruments and antenna systems, achieving performance testing of satellite communication links, such as signal strength, bit error rate, carrier tracking, etc. In addition, it can also be used for interference testing and anti-interference performance evaluation of satellite communication systems to ensure the reliability and stability of satellite communications.
Electronic warfare system testing: In the research and development and testing of electronic warfare systems, this module can be used to simulate various complex electromagnetic environments, switching radio frequency interference signals of different frequencies and powers to the electronic warfare equipment under test to assess its anti-interference capability and electronic countermeasure performance. Meanwhile, the reconnaissance and jamming signals generated by the electronic warfare equipment can also be routed to the corresponding test instruments for analysis and evaluation, providing a basis for the optimization and upgrade of the electronic warfare system.
