GE IC698CMX016 Controls the memory switch module
Functional use: Mainly used in the optical fiber network, the use of reflected memory technology to achieve data deterministic sharing between PLC and compatible devices, can provide pre-programmed data sharing for PLC and connected field equipment on the high-speed optical fiber network reflected storage system.
Memory configuration: Equipped with 16MB SDRAM reflective parity memory, providing space for data storage and processing.
Electrical characteristics: The operating voltage is + 5VDC, provided by the power supply, the current requirement is 1.8 amps.
Installation requirements: It must be installed on the host rack and connected to slot 3 or 4, occupying a single slot in the backplane. To take advantage of its features, it must be installed on an RX7i CPU with firmware version 2.00 or higher, an RX7I-CPU rack with power supply.
Communication interface: The communication interface is an LC fiber port that supports 2.12Gbaud over multimode fiber media up to a distance of 300 meters or 984.25 feet. Supported dynamic packet sizes range from 4-64 bytes, with a maximum network transfer rate of 43 megabytes per second in 4-byte packets and 174 megabytes per second in 64-byte packets. It can communicate with up to 256 nodes per network and supports redundant transport mode operation.
Front panel design: The front panel is equipped with LED status indicators such as OK, CONFIG, OWN DATA, and SIGNAL DETECT to display the operation and communication status of the module.
