Functional characteristics
The data interface function is the interface between the 3500 monitoring System and compatible software (such as System 1 condition monitoring and diagnostic software, 3500 system configuration software), integrating the functions of 3500/20 rack interface module (RIM) and the data acquisition capabilities of communication processors (such as TDXnet).
Data acquisition and transmission: Located in the slot next to the power module in the 3500 rack, in combination with the M series monitor (e.g. 3500/40M, 3500/42M, etc.), it continuously collects steady-state and transient waveform data and transmits the data to the main computer software via Ethernet. The module has static data acquisition by default, and can also capture dynamic and high-resolution transient data by installing an optional channel to enable the disk.
