ABB PFTL201D pillow tensiometer horizontal load cell
Working principle
When the horizontal tension acts on the load cell of the PFTL201D pillow tensiometer, the internal elastomer will deform accordingly. The elastic body is pasted with a strain gauge, and the strain gauge will change the resistance value with the deformation of the elastic body. According to Wheatstone’s bridge principle, the strain gauge is composed of a bridge circuit. When the resistance of the strain gauge changes, the bridge will output a weak voltage signal proportional to the tension. After a series of processing, such as amplification and filtering, the signal is converted into a standard electrical signal output for subsequent measurement and control equipment to analyze and process. By measuring and analyzing the output signal, the magnitude of the applied horizontal tension can be accurately obtained.
