ABB’s 216EA62 analog input unit
Functional characteristics
Signal conversion: It is mainly used to convert analog signals into digital data for processing and control, and can accurately measure analog signals in industrial environments.
Multi-channel sampling: with 24 input channels of six groups of simultaneous sampling, multiple analog signals can be collected at the same time, improving the efficiency and accuracy of data acquisition.
Specific sampling frequency: sampling frequency is 600 (720) Hz, power frequency is 50 (60) Hz, under the rated power system frequency, the sampling rate of the analog input unit is 12 times per cycle, and the dynamic range is 15 bits, which can meet the requirements of most industrial application scenarios for signal sampling.
Temperature monitoring: The temperature measurement interface can be directly connected to various resistors or couples to achieve real-time monitoring of the ambient temperature, providing additional temperature information for the system and helping to comprehensively evaluate the operating status of the equipment.
Hardware structure
Space requirements: Two rack partitions in a standard 19-inch 6U device rack for data exchange with other electronic units via parallel bus B448C.
Communication capability
Data sharing: Equipped with standard hardware interfaces or proprietary communication protocols to complete the transfer of programs and data, it can easily communicate with other equipment or systems to achieve data sharing and exchange, which is convenient for integration and collaborative work in the entire industrial control system.
System integration
Distributed control: When the system is constructed, the 216EA62 module can be used with multiple PLC (programmable logic controller) to form a distributed control network of “centralized management and decentralized control”, which can realize the effective control of large-scale complex systems.
