Functional characteristics
Field wiring connection: As a passive unit, it is used to connect the field wiring to the I/O module to realize the connection between the field equipment and the system.
Module bus assignment: The module bus is assigned to the I/O module and the next MTU module, and the correct address of the I/O module is generated by transferring the output position signal to the next MTU.
Mechanical key configuration: Two mechanical keys are used to configure MTU for different types of I/O modules, each key has six positions, a total of 36 different configurations, to prevent the insertion of the wrong I/O module.
