HIMax security system

Every component of the HIMax security system is optimized for high performance. This makes multitasking possible, with the system able to handle tasks from 32 separate applications simultaneously, from emergency parking to turbomachinery control. Everything can be controlled through a single system. Moreover, new applications can be integrated without any negative impact. This also reduces the system certification effort.

Certification: HIMax complies with all relevant standards, including from IEC 61508 and EN 50156. The built-in Programmable logic controller (PLC) is suitable for all SIL 3 applications and SIL 4 (CENELEC) applications in the rail industry. Configuration and programming of HIMax can be done with the easy-to-use SILworX programming tool. This speeds up validation and debugging.
